El Prat Beach
As part of the ProBleu project and our collaboration with MINKA, our primary students visited El Prat de Llobregat beach near Barcelona to study its coastal ecosystem. They collected plastic waste and observed the biodiversity hidden in the sand. Among their discoveries were beautiful seashells, especially Donax trunculus, a small bivalve typical of Mediterranean beaches.
