We want Minka to be a place to co-create knowledge, build community, and share experiences, in a safe environment where people can collaborate and express themselves freely.

Post only your own photos, sounds, and videos, and always follow the law.

Respect everyone on Minka: do not send spam, do not make nasty, abusive, insulting, annoying, or unsolicited comments, or post content of a sexual or pornographic nature, false, unscientific, unproven, illegal, and/or infringing against public order and social peace.

SPECIFIC

Minka is a reflection of our diverse community of cultures, ages, and beliefs. We have spent a lot of time considering the different factors that contribute to creating a safe and open environment for all.

These coexistence guidelines are designed not to restrict anyone's rights but to manage an adequate and balanced use of the service, protecting the community and its objectives expressed in the Terms of Use.

By using Minka, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Use. We are committed to complying with them and we hope that you will too. In the event that you do not comply with them, it is possible that the content you have uploaded and shared may be deleted, your account may be temporarily or permanently disabled, you may be prevented from registering again or legal actions may be taken against you.

THE GUIDELINES

1. Share only photos, sounds, and videos that you have taken or that you have the right to share. As always, the content you post on Minka is your property. Remember to post authentic content; do not post anything you have copied or found from the internet, and that you do not have the right to post. 2. Post photos and videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience. This is a citizen science community. Upload personal, nude, minor content, or any other type of photos, videos, or texts that do not comply with the objectives of the community expressed in the Terms of Use. They will be immediately removed from the website and the app, which may lead, in the event of reiteration and at Minka's sole discretion, to the temporary suspension or definitive cancellation of the account.

3. Share relevant information and encourage meaningful and genuine interactions. Help us eradicate spam and inappropriate or meaningful content, do not post repetitive comments or content or repeatedly contact people without their consent.

4. It is not necessary that you use your real name in Minka, but it is necessary that as a user of the platform you provide us with correct and updated information. Do not impersonate others or create accounts with the intent to violate our rules, mislead others, or share illegal information. Irrelevant, alien to the interests of the community, or that threatens the peace of the community or public order.

5. Follow the law. There is no place in Minka for those who support or praise terrorism, organized crime or groups that promote hate. Do not use the communication channels for illegal purposes. Minka maintains a zero-tolerance stance for those who share sexual content related to minors or who threaten to post intimate images of other users.

6. Respect other members of the Minka community. We want to promote a diverse and positive community. We will remove any content that includes credible threats or hateful language, content directed at individuals in order to humiliate or embarrass them, personal information used to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated spam, which may result in repeated and at the sole discretion of Minka, to the temporary suspension or the definitive cancellation of the account. It is unacceptable to encourage the use of violence or to attack someone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, disability, or disease. Serious threats to public and personal safety are not allowed. These include specific threats against physical integrity and threats of theft, vandalism, and other economic damage.

Failure to comply with any of these rules may lead, at Minka's sole discretion, to the removal of the content, the temporary suspension of the account, the definitive cancellation of the account, the absolute prohibition of being part of the community, and, ultimately, the complaint to the corresponding authorities or the initiation of legal action. Keep this in mind before breaching any of them.

HELP US KEEP A HEALTHY COMMUNITY TOGETHER

• Each and every one of us is an important part of the Minka community. If you see something that you think violates our rules, please let us know using our contact form. When you fill out the report, please try to provide as much information as possible, such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the content, so that we can quickly find and review it.

• It is possible that you will find content that you do not like, but that does not violate these rules of coexistence. Take this into consideration before submitting a complaint to us.

• Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If another member posts one of your photos or videos, you can try asking them to remove it in a comment on the post. If it doesn't work, you can let us know through the contact form. If you believe that someone is violating your intellectual property, we recommend that you read the section about it in our Terms of Use. Please do not post screenshots or call attention to the issue as it could be considered harassment.
